Landscaping and lawn care in Sandy
Leaf removal, sprinkler blowouts, retaining walls and lawn care for homes in east Sandy. Sandy is the south end of our routes, about 25 minutes from our crew.
Sandy yards, and what they need
Sandy’s eastern neighborhoods climb the lower slopes of the Wasatch, from the streets around Willow Creek and Sandy Hills up toward the canyons, with Dimple Dell Regional Park’s 630 acres cutting through the middle. Sloped lots are the norm, so retaining walls, gravel beds and sprinkler zones that don’t run off downhill make a big difference.
Fall is about timing here. Sandy’s hauler collects bagged leaves from the park strip on set dates, different north and south of 9400 South, so leaves need to be raked, bagged and out on the right day. If that doesn’t fit your schedule, we rake, blow and haul everything away whenever it’s ready.
Sandy runs its own water utility and is a member of the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy. Sandy residents can also apply for the state’s landscape incentive to replace lawn with water-wise landscaping.

Sandy questions
Does Sandy pick up bagged leaves?
Sandy’s hauler, WM, collects bagged leaves from the park strip on scheduled fall dates that differ north and south of 9400 South. Leaves must be bagged and kept at least 3 feet from storm drains. Check the city’s notice for this year’s dates, or have our leaf removal haul them away.
Do you build retaining walls in Sandy?
Yes. East Sandy’s sloped lots are a good fit for block retaining walls and gravel beds that hold soil and cut down on runoff.
Is Sandy too far for weekly lawn care?
Sandy is the south end of our routes, so weekly openings depend on where you are. Text us your address and we’ll tell you what we can do.
