Effective October 22, 2026
Higginson Landscaping LLC (“we” or “us”) is a landscaping and lawn care company in Salt Lake City, Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit higginsonlandscaping.com, ask for a quote, text or call us, or hire us, and what we do with it. We don’t sell your information.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and service address.
- Details about your yard: your answers to our quote questions, notes you send us, and photos of your property that you upload or text to us.
- Job and billing records: quotes, scheduled visits, invoices and payments.
- Messages: texts, emails and calls between you and us.
- How you heard about us, if you tell us.
- Website visits: our website host collects standard information about visits, such as pages viewed and the type of browser and device, and the site uses a small number of cookies it needs to work and to count visits.
How we use it
- To quote, schedule and do your work, and to bill you for it.
- To contact you about your quote, your visits and your account.
- To follow up after a job, including asking how it went.
- To keep the records we need for taxes, insurance and legal requirements.
- To improve our service and our website.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Jobber, for quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments
- Cloudinary, which stores the photos you upload through our quote form
- Zapier, which moves quote requests from our website into our systems
- Our email, accounting and team messaging providers
- Our website host, WordPress.com, and Trustindex, which shows reviews from our Google listing on this site
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or with a new owner if the business is sold or transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
If you pay online, your card is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Text messages
- When you give us your mobile number and ask for a quote or service, you agree that we can text you about that request: your quote, scheduling, job updates, invoices and follow-up after the job.
- We only send promotional texts, such as seasonal offers, to people who have agreed to receive them.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call or email us.
- Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos
Photos you send us are used to quote and plan your job and are kept with your job record. Our crew also photographs completed work, and those photos may appear on our website and social media. We don’t post your name or street address with them. If you’d rather we not post photos of your property, just tell us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you and to meet tax, insurance and legal requirements.
How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs, and we use established software providers that have their own security protections. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons. You can stop texts any time by replying STOP, and stop emails by replying and asking us to.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
