Sod installation in Salt Lake City
Dead or patchy grass torn out and replaced with new sod.
A new lawn, start to finish
When a lawn is mostly weeds, bare dirt or dead patches, starting over with sod is often faster than trying to bring it back with seed.
We take out the old grass, grade and prep the ground, and lay the new sod tight so the seams knit together.
- Old grass and weeds removed
- Ground graded and prepped
- New sod laid
- Sod removal on its own, if you just want the old lawn gone

Questions
How much does sod cost?
It depends on the size of the area, how much old grass has to come out and how much prep the ground needs. Send photos and we’ll price it.
When can you lay sod in Salt Lake City?
Spring through fall, any time the ground isn’t frozen. Spring and fall are easiest, because new sod needs less water in cooler weather.
How do I take care of new sod?
Water it every day for the first couple of weeks so it roots into the soil, and stay off it until it’s rooted. After that, water deeply and less often.
Can you do the beds and edging too?
Yes, we can do beds, mulch and edging at the same time. See mulch and weeding.
