Landscaping and lawn care in Midvale

Leaf removal, fall cleanups, sprinkler blowouts and weekly mowing for Midvale homes, especially on the east side near Fort Union. About 20 minutes from our crew.

Midvale yards, and what they need

Midvale stretches from the Fort Union area on its east side, the historic town of Union, across Main Street to Bingham Junction and the Jordan River. Our routes reach the east side best, where established neighborhoods sit closest to Cottonwood Heights and Murray.

Leaves take some planning here. Midvale has no curbside leaf pickup. The city hands out free bags in the fall and opens drop-off dumpsters for a few days in late November, so you need the bags, the time and a way to get them there. Our leaf removal skips all of that: we rake, blow and haul everything away in one visit.

Keeping leaves out of the gutter matters too. The city counts more than 1,200 storm drains and warns that a clogged drain means a flooded street.

Midvale questions

Does Midvale pick up leaves at the curb?

No. Midvale’s Fall Leaf Cleanup Program gives utility customers free leaf bags from City Hall and opens drop-off dumpsters in late November, but there is no curbside pickup. Our leaf removal rakes and hauls the leaves away instead.

Why does Midvale care about leaves in the gutter?

Midvale has more than 1,200 storm drains, and leaves are one of the main things that clog them. A clogged drain can flood the street.
